Skyfest – Hot Air Balloons Go Pop & 2.0
Challenge
Reinvent the somewhat outdated image of hot air balloons to appeal to a younger audience, without losing the family-friendly and community spirit of the festival. The challenge: break away from traditional visual codes while remaining accessible and inclusive.
Goal
Attract a new generation of visitors while bringing together all age groups around a vibrant, memorable event that is instantly recognizable.
Solution
Developed a complete visual identity centered around an iconic mascot, paired with a bold, contrasting color palette (pink, orange, green). The design was optimized for both web and print, featuring a joyful, modern style meant to be instantly recognizable and leave a lasting impression.
